We've been SO busy lately, I feel like this Holiday season has been the craziest we've ever had!  I'm hoping things calm down a bit now that, (as of today), Joey's done with school for this semester and all our Christmas shopping is finished!  It's time to sit back and wait for the big day to arrive!  Hence why I'm finally getting a chance to write this post.  HA!  Unlike our Christmas shopping, our girl's room is semi-finished but looking so cute for Christmas.  Falalalala-lalalala!

One thing on Juliet's Christmas list was "big girl" bedding for her toddler bed.  She loves to crawl into our bed, pull the covers up and pretend that she's sleeping.  We transitioned her crib to a toddler bed back in June (she was 20 months).  We cut a twin size egg crate to fit her crib mattress and put it under her mattress protector just to make it a bit more comfy.  I used the left over egg crate to make bumpers for the edge so that she wouldn't fall out.  They've worked great!  I bought her comforter, sham, and this throw pillow, (which is back-ordered until January), all from Land of Nod and today only they are offering free shipping on all orders, so if you have anymore Christmas shopping left to do, today's the day!

Her art table is usually covered in playdoh or paper so I didn't bother cleaning up our snowflake scraps before taking pictures.  She got plastic scissors in our advent calendar this past week so we put them to good use and cut out a few snowflakes!  She's already tried to give her unicorn a haircut and luckily they weren't strong enough to do the job.  I'm patiently waiting for the day she decides it's time for a change and scalps herself.

We love the room so far, but I have a few things I want to add to make it more efficient and fun.  Like hooks for this corner behind her door where we usually keep her outfit for the next day and her backpack.  I'm thinking about getting either these from Anthro or these from LON.  I should also note that I plan to paint her room this peachy blush pink paint color by Benjamin Moore called Mauve Hint.  We plan to move out her chalkboard and art table into the study to give her more floor space to play.  We're just waiting on that space to be "finished".  On to the next room!

Planned improvements:
